Following the installation of HRH The Prince of Wales as an Honorary Freeman in November 2003, the Company established The Prince’s Prize for the best young instrumentalist or singer chosen from the Company’s award winners in the current year.

The finalists selected to compete for The Prince’s Prize will perform for 20 minutes each. A panel of adjudicators will decide the winner, who will receive a prize of £2,000 and a Silver Medal, which will be presented at the Company’s Installation Dinner in November. The Mrs Prudi Hoggarth Audience Prize of £200 will be awarded to the performer voted for by the audience.
